  • Aim & Record: Touch anywhere on the chronicle board to aim, then release to place family members
  • Match Lineages: Connect 3 or more of the same family member — three fathers, three daughters — to record their line. A grandfather and a grandmother are the same generation but will not match each other.
  • Wall Connections: Family members can bounce off chronicle walls for strategic placement
  • Floating Records: Entries left hanging with nothing above them are cleared for you, at 5 chronicle points each

When two parent members of different genders come together in the chronicle, they create new life! This represents the continuation of family lines through history.

  • Only the parent generation can — elders and children cannot
  • The pair must be touching (adjacent in the chronicle)
  • Must be different genders for traditional family creation
  • Offspring appears in the nearest available chronicle space
  • Earn +100 chronicle points plus family unity bonus

⏳ Chronicle Timing

The pace of family recording increases as you progress through historical periods! Watch the countdown as new generations arrive.

  • Chapter I: 30 seconds between new arrivals
  • Chapter V: 22 seconds between new arrivals — two seconds less each chapter
  • Chapter X: 12 seconds between new arrivals
  • Warning: Timer turns urgent red in final 5 seconds

🏆 Chronicle Scoring & Progression

  • Basic Connections: Points = (members connected)² × 10
  • Family Creation: +100 points per new offspring
  • Large Lineages: +50 bonus for connecting 4+ members
  • Chain Reactions: Extra points for cascading chronicle entries
  • Time Mastery: Faster chapter completion = bonus chronicle points
